Good Morning Wednesday Inspirational Quotes and Wishes
Wednesday is hump day, the day right in the middle of the week when you’re wondering if it will ever be over. Of course you can use Wednesday inspirational quotes!
Will you ever get to the weekend?
Wednesday inspirational quotes can be a tremendous help when you’re struggling just to get by.
There are also a few practices to put into place that will make Wednesdays not so hard.

The Traditional Work Week
Even for those stay-at-home, or work from home, parents, the work week has become standard, because, unless you are educating your children at home, you are still stuck in this rigid 5 day week that begins with Monday and ends with frustrations and overwhelm on Friday.
Then you have two days to “get it all done.”
All the domestic duties, grocery shopping, errand running, oh and don’t forget to enjoy some family time, that you have put off during the week.
It was not always like this, you know.
Before industrialization began a couple hundred years ago, people lived by the cycles of the day, of the month, and of the year.
If you lived off the land, there were no weekends.
The cows had to be milked, the chickens had to be fed, the crops had to be tended, every single day.
If you owned a business or worked for yourself, you made your own hours, and you met with clients pretty much on demand.
And leisure came every single day, and it came every single month, and it came seasonally.
There were entire months of leisure during the winter, when few people ventured out, had crops to tend to, or needed to worry about animals.
Even in the early days of industrialization, workers worked on a contract basis. They still considered themselves autonomous.
Workers would show up when they felt like it and get paid, poorly of course, for the work they did.
It was seen as an agreement between the business owner or the manager and the worker.
As business owners became more demanding and oppressive, workers united and formed unions to protect them.
All of that changed with the Gilded Age in the late 1800s and the rise of unfettered capitalism.
Presidents encouraged and ordered the breakup of unions, more and more legislation was passed that gave increasing power to the corporations, bankers and lenders found ways to corrupt our financial systems, and here we are today.
Tied to a work week in a system very few of us take any pleasure in or agree with, making wages well below what should be aligned with business productivity, and angry and exhausted all the while.
Too exhausted to do anything about it.
Mondays suck. Wednesdays you’re barely making it. Fridays you’re just ready to crash. And by the time you barely recover, it starts all over again.
Well, that does not need to be the case.
Wednesday Inspirational Quotes: Put Your House in Perfect Order
One of my favorite pieces of advice comes from many religions and spiritual practices and is codified in Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life.
“Put your house in perfect order.”
The idea is that before you complain, before you stick your nose in someone else’s business, before you have anything to say about anything, really, you need to get your house in order.
And this piece of advice, if you can take it in the spirit in which it is intended, to help you lead a better life, is actually great.
You see, most of us are stressed out and burning out because our focus is on the wrong things.
We spend what free moments we have with our noses in our smartphones, on the television, or frustrated and angry about things beyond our control.
If we put all of our focus on putting our own houses in perfect order, our energy would change almost instantly.
And putting your house in order always begins with your spiritual house.
Have a Daily Spiritual Practice
When you set aside time every single day to be grateful and appreciative to something larger than yourself, your life begins to open up in new, surprising and delightful ways.
It does not have to be “God” or even some sort of deity at all.
You can sit in appreciation to something bigger than yourself, to the Universe, or just to nature.
Starting your day with gratitude creates a new beginning for you; it is a beautiful thing when you start your day with good thoughts and a positive attitude, so beautiful, in fact, that it translates through the rest of the day.
Wednesday inspirational quotes will then serve as a reminder of how great you have it.
By the middle of the week, new things and new hope are creating a wonderful day each day for you.
When you have a daily spiritual practice that begins on Sunday morning, the rest of the week opens itself up to great things.
And all you have to do is sit in meditation for 20 minute each morning, quieting your mind, clearing your spiritual space, and then expressing appreciation for all the good in your life.
Remember, energy flows where attention goes.
Before you know it, a new job offer comes your way, your old job gets better, you get ideas for building your own business, or you are struck by inspiration to take a new direction in life.
Where you put your focus is what the entire Universe will also focus on.
Set the intention each morning that you will have a great day, and you will in fact have a great day.
You get to decide that your peace and joy are more important than anything else.
Wednesday Inspirational Quotes: Change Your Life
Once you have built a daily spiritual practice, you can use Wednesday inspirational quotes to change your life.
Let the quotes inspire you to make small, incremental changes that have a long term impact on a better life for you.
When you do this, it does not matter that industrialization made the work week impossible to overcome and the drudgery soul crushing to confront.
You will step out of all of that.
You can witness it with compassion and know that you are entirely unaffected by it.
That, perhaps, is the most beautiful thing, and certainly the most important thing about this abundant and infinitely loving Universe we live in.
We get to look at something, anything, and say “not for me, thanks.” And so it is.
You are the spell. Your truth becomes true as long as you hold it to be true to you.
As you change small parts of your life, your perspective changes, and you begin to see how to make your desires a reality.
Wednesday suddenly is just another day to feel great joy.
Small Changes
Here are a few small changes you can implement into every single day that will change your week, your day, and most of all, your Wednesday:
Build something fun into the day
Take a walk outside for 30 minutes
Eat something that tastes good and is good for your body
Drink lots of water
Listen to your favorite music
Wish yourself a good day each morning as you leave meditation
Just start there and watch how much a difference these small changes make your day a whole new experience.
Good Morning Wednesday Inspirational Quotes
To go with those changes and your morning meditation, you can read these quotes on Wednesday morning when the week feels so overwhelming.
Or at any time you just need a little pick me up.
“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
I love this one because Emerson was a transcendentalist who rejected the traditional teachings of the church for which he was preaching.
He went out on his own, against the entire church council, to help found a movement that still inspires us today.
Talk about deciding something and the universe having your back.
“Success means we go to sleep at night knowing that our talents and abilities were used in a way that served others.”
~Marianne Williamson
I love this quote especially for mothers because it reminds us of how much good we do each day, even when we might not think of it as success. We dressed and kissed wounds, settled disputes, cooked a meal, folded laundry.
We served.
“I often warn people: ‘Somewhere along the way, someone is going to tell you there is no I in team. What you should tell them is, maybe not. But there is an I in independence, individuality, and integrity.”
~George Carlin
And we finish off with this quote from the late great George Carlin to remind us that even when we feel like we are all alone, there is great strength in the “I.”
And, of course, we are really never alone. The Universe has our back, and with that, we can always have independence, individuality, and integrity.
Happy manifesting!
