Affirmations for self-love make a difference in your life.
Self-love is a tricky thing.
You inner voice may be convinced that you are not worthy of love.
I cannot tell you how many people I have talked to with horrible inner voices that are constantly criticizing them and pulling them down.
One of my favorite song lyrics is from a Pink song, Fu*@ing Perfect.
“Change the voices in your head. Make them like you instead.”
If you are lacking in self-love, and if you are criticizing yourself, doubting yourself, have suboptimal health, or struggling in any way, it is often rooted in a lack of self-love, this is what you need to do.
Change the voices in your head to make them like you instead.

The Easy Road to Affirmations for Self-Love
As with anything in life you must overcome, you first have to admit you have a problem.
“I don’t love myself the way I deserve to be loved.”
Look, God, the Universe, Spirit, Nature, whatever you want to call it, loves you unconditionally and without exception at all times.
The energy you come from loves you no matter what, is always with you, watching over you, and guiding you.
If you are struggling, it is because you are, as Abraham Hicks says, pinching yourself off from Source Energy.
You are resisting.
The easiest thing you can do is to stop resisting.
Get soft. Get light. Get gentle.
Start with the people easiest to love – your children, your spouse or lover, your other family members, a best friend, your cat!
And little by little include yourself.
Think of the people you love most, and how you would love them no matter what, without exception.
Now extend that same love to yourself.
It helps to begin with the easy, tangible things that make you stronger and prouder of yourself, boosting your self-esteem along the way.
Exercising outside, walking, running, swimming, biking, yoga, anything, is a double whammy.
You get the vitamin D that legitimately improves your mood and health and the cardiovascular exercise that boost your serotonin, which is your happiness chemical.
You will find, if you spend 30 minutes moving your body outside, that your mood lifts almost instantly and you feel more loving toward yourself.
It makes such a difference in people’s lives, and so many of us are deficient in vitamin D and we’re pissed off all the time and hard on ourselves and we don’t even know why.
Did you know that if you can run a mile without getting gassed, do 25 sit-ups and do 10 pushups you’re in like the top 10 percent of the world?
And it’s everything.
Exercise, particularly outside, will change your life.
If you do nothing else in this blog, do this, and watch how quickly you start loving the body, the spirit, and the mind you have.
And, the nice thing is, if you can’t “exercise” you can at least get outside. And if you can’t get outside, you can find a way to exercise.
So one will back up the other if you can’t have both.
I’m tied to my desk for much of this week, but I have an obligation to get my kids out for their playdates. It happens to be summer time as I write this, so our playdates involve swimming.
So while I can’t get out to run or walk by myself outside today, I can at least focus on getting in good swim time at the creek under the sun while I’m out with my kids.
Would I prefer to listen to a podcast or to Pink tell me I’m Fu*@ing Perfect while I walk or run alone?
Of course, but if we aim for the stars and fail, at least we can still reach the moon.
Eat Well, Sleep Well, Hydrate
Next, pay attention to what you put in your body and what you put your body through.
Look at your alcohol and sugar consumption.
Are you getting enough water each day?
These critical elements can either lead to or improve states of anxiety and depression.
Are you getting enough plants and lean meats, supporting your natural body functions and muscles mass?
Your gut health and your muscles mass, believe it or not, are tied to your brain.
Your inability to love yourself and your low self-esteem may simply be a nervous system and brain health issue.
Getting proper nutrition and exercise could trigger a whole new turn of events in your life that lead to more positive thoughts, to you believing you are worthy of love, to you building a better version of yourself, and to your daily routine bringing positive changes on a daily basis in a powerful way.
Plus, you need to make sure you’re sleeping!
You cannot expect to love yourself if you don’t even allow yourself to rest.
8 hours a night, no phone, no television, just you and God. No exceptions.
The Slightly More Difficult Way to Affirmations for Self-Love
Once you have implemented those basic steps of self care into your life, it is time to level up to the more difficult practices.
You must pray every night and meditate every morning.
You must offer up surrender to the Universe every single night, commit to opening yourself up to divine will, and to loving yourself through it all.
Then, each morning, you must sit in quiet, in a clear space, and listen for guidance from the Universe.
Clear out each of your chakra, from crown to root, connect yourself to the earth and all of creation, and devote yourself to following your intuition – the guidance you are always receiving from the Universe.
It will take time to develop this solid habit. It will not happen overnight or in a single day. The most important thing is to commit yourself to this practice. Within a very short time, you will notice yourself softening, lightening, loosening, allowing what no longer serves you to leave you, and you can stand in front of a mirror and honestly say “I am amazing.”
To help, I have included here some inspirational quotes and powerful affirmations for every day of a 31-day month.
Use these to build self-love and self-esteem until you can create your own.

The more things you do, the more you can do.”

I am fu*@ing perfect
I am right where I need to be
I am already complete
I am always learning
I am always growing
I am whole
I already have everything I need inside of me
I am capable of anything
I am strong, smart, and capable
I believe in myself
I love myself
The Universe has my back
I am a role model for someone
I am here, right now, and I will work with what I have
I am healthy
I can be brave
These quotes and powerful self-love affirmations will help you internalize a new inner voice that loves you, that has high self-esteem, that knows your self worth, and that is loving and supportive of you no matter what.
It is a huge accomplishment simply that you are here, that you have read this far, that you want change in today’s world of negative feelings and too much of everything.
Merely asking for more is your birthright. It is what you came here to do. The key, and I believe you now hold that key, is to allow that more to come to you because you know you deserve it.
You do indeed deserve it all.
Now, you just have to know it.
