Your Address and Numerology (Yes, it’s a Thing)
Your home should be a special place. It should be a place of comfort, acceptance, relaxation, love, and more.
Warm, positive feelings are a tell-tale sign of a good home, of living in the place where you are supposed to be. On the other hand, you could have negative feelings that warn you the place you’re living is just not right.
Determining whether a certain home is right for you or not is important. It can help you decide if you should move into a specific place, or help you make the best decisions for the home you’re already in.
As with most things, you can actually use numerology to determine whether or not a home is a match for you. The mystical connection between numbers and virtually everything in life acts as a magnifier, showcasing anything that you should or shouldn’t avoid.
So, what part of the home do you use for numerology? The part with the numbers, of course!
Every home’s address can help you learn something about your home or a home that you are considering moving into. Using the address, you can find the home’s number, which will tell you a great deal about the place.

Finding a Home’s Number Using the Address
The first thing you need to do is determine the number of the house. As with everything else in numerology, that means reducing the address to a single digit.
Add the Numbers of the Address Together
Start by taking the numbers in the address and breaking them up into solo numbers. If your address is 1434, you will write down 1 + 4 + 3 + 4, which equals 12.
If you are not left with a single digit, you will need to reduce the number again. In our example, 12 becomes 1 + 2, which equals 3.
The number of your address, then, is 3.
Finding an Apartment’s Number Using the Unit Number
If you live in, or are considering moving into, an apartment, you won’t use the street address to determine its number. Instead, you will use the number that is unique for the specific apartment; its unit number.
Add the Numbers of the Unit Together
If the apartment is unit number 14, you will calculate 1 + 4, which equals 5.
Apartments that have a letter in their unit number are still able to be calculated. Letters each have a value in numerology, starting with “A” and moving down 1-9, then repeating once you reach 9.
The numeric letter chart in numerology looks like this:
1 = A, J, S
2 = B, K, T
3 = C, L, U
4 = D, M, V
5 = E, N, W
6 = F, O, X
7 = G, P, Y
8 = H, Q, Z
9 = I, R
So, if you live in apartment 3C, your calculation will become 3 + 3, with an answer of 6. The number for that apartment is 6.
What A Home’s Number Tells You
Once you know the number of a home that you are thinking about moving into, or of a home you’re already in, you can begin to understand its personality. Knowing the personality of your home will give you insight into whether the place is right for you.
One
If the home is a one, it is a place of independence and strength. The home itself is filled with individuality and the energy it possesses is one of leadership and ingenuity.
A one home is a great place for someone who is self-employed or self-motivated in their career. It is the perfect location for those who want to persevere, maintain personal freedom, and gain confidence in themselves.
Homes with a one number are not typically family locations. They aren’t necessarily places of comfort, they’re places to focus on self-success.
Two
A two home is a warm and fuzzy place focused on family, love, and togetherness. These homes are all about nurturing and creating a safe, comfortable environment.
A home that is a two, is the perfect place for a couple or family to live, love, and grow. It encourages life together, thinking of others, and learning to develop a cohesive family life.
If you’re looking for a place to encourage you individually, where you can advance your career or goals, a two home is not the place. When you live in a two home, you’re going to feel the need to stay home and to focus inward.
Three
Threes are fun houses filled with joy and laughter. They are inspiring places that encourage the creativity in everyone who lives there.
In a three house, there will be open communication, acceptance, self-expression, and artistic endeavors. They encourage people to live joyful lives and feel good as they embark on the path of creation.
Living in a three house is fascinating and filled to the brim with life! However, the free-spirited feelings of a three house can lead to a lack of stability, organization, and advancement, as well as financial troubles.
Four
Four homes are places of stability. The energy in the home is one of hard-work, organization, protection, and loyalty.
In a four house, people feel safe and cared for. These houses teach goal setting, security, and are a great place to build a foundation for a family or business.
These houses are a slow investment in the security of your future and are great for those who are focused on building a strong future. Those who need a bit of light-hearted, carefree whimsy in their life will likely feel dark and stifled in a four house.
Five
A five house is a fast-moving party house! The energy in these homes is all about flexibility, freedom, and adventure.
People living in these homes will feel the pull to live life to the fullest, have a positive perspective, and just keep going. They are great places for those who want to enjoy life and aren’t interested in sitting still.
The fast energy in a five house can easily throw someone who needs a bit of calm and slowness in their lives off balance. These homes don’t promote security and longevity, so they are best for people looking for a short-term residence.
Six
Six houses are places that have an energy of beauty, nurturing, and soul-growth. In these homes, families flourish and thrive, as they are enveloped in warmth, compassion, and acceptance.
People who live in a six home will feel well-cared for and secure. They feel as if they have a safe and healthy environment to grow and be themselves.
These are great homes to raise children in, with the security, beauty, and acceptance that seamlessly flow. Those who feel threatened by responsibility and the creation of a long-term, secure home, might not want to take on the duty of a six house.
Seven
If you are a spiritual seeker looking for a place to expand your mind and open your soul, a seven house is just the place for you. These homes have an energy of contemplation, introspection, and spirituality.
Seven homes promote soul-searching and growth, encouraging those in the house to dive deep into themselves and look for truth. These are great homes for seekers and thinkers; writers, philosophers, religious leaders, and scientists.
The energy in the seven home is private and internalized. Those who need a loud, exciting social life may feel lonesome and even depressed when living in a seven.
Eight
Financial wealth and achievement are the heart and soul of an eight home. This is the place to get ahead, to pursue your goals, and succeed.
With achievement and money being top priorities, intentional communication and togetherness is a must in these homes. These are great places to work on business endeavors and learn to live intentionally, with balance.
The risk of an eight home is to get caught up in money and achievement at the expense of relationships. Living here, you need to be intentional and understand that money will come and go.
Nine
A nine home is a place of giving, self-lessness, and charity. These homes support people on their path towards creating a peaceful, equal world.
Those who live in a nine house often feel pulled to give back to their community and to the world at large. They spread energy in their homes of acceptance, healing, and comfort.
If you are compelled to be a giver and a change-maker, to heal others through your works, a nine home is the perfect place. However, if you are more focused on your own success and personal growth, a nine home could be a challenge.
Living in the Wrong Number Home
It happens all the time. You find out the number of your house and you finally understand why everything feels so off.
You’re not living in a place that is conducive with you, your lifestyle, your goals, and your family. You’re worried that you’re stuck and won’t have the ability to flourish as long as you’re there.
Don’t worry. There’s a quick and simple fix that will remedy things instantly.
Change your home’s energy, personality, and vibration by simply adding another number to the inside of your door. It’s that easy to control.
So, you’re an artist living in a four home. You feel that your creativity is being stifled and you haven’t been able to create as well since you’ve moved in.
You know that a three home is right for you and will give you the freedom to create again. Simply add an eight to the inside of your door.
4 + 8 = 12. 1 + 2 = 3.
You’re suddenly living in a three home!
No matter where you are living, you can make sure that it’s the right place. When you’re in the right home, you’re going to thrive.
