Quotes About Self Confidence and Beauty
Why would you need quotes about self confidence?
You had to have heard it before, at least once.
True beauty comes from self-confidence.
Self Confidence and beauty go hand in hand.
Take someone like Barbara Streisand, Penelope Cruz, or Angelica Houston. They are not classical beauties, and you can pick apart their faces and point to what is wrong with them over and over.
One of my all-time favorite actresses is Julia Roberts. But my husband does not think she’s pretty at all. “Her mouth is too big.”
I, on the other hand, find her stunning.
Remember that movie There’s Something About Mary?
Did I just date myself? I’m sooooooo old.
Well, in the film, Cameron Diaz plays Mary, a woman that men fall all over themselves for because there is “just something about her.”
It’s energy, ladies. Energy is everything.
Sure, you can say “well Cameron Diaz is gorgeous. Of course men fall all over her. That’s not hard to believe.”
But think about it. We all know at least one person who makes us go “huh. He/she is not really classically attractive, but there is just something about him/her.”

Quotes about Self Confidence and Beauty: Energy Is Everything
If you want to feel beautiful, improve your self-confidence, and self-confidence starts with energy, always.
But improving your energy is not always as simple as snapping your fingers.
It takes work and dedication to build yourself up to be the strong, smart, capable woman who exudes self confidence that makes you truly beautiful.
But there are some simple steps you can take to begin improving your self-confidence and beauty today, and each one comes with a quote to help you remember its importance.
Beauty Rest
Quotes about self-confidence?
You cannot put on enough makeup, take enough anti-depressants or anti-anxiety meds, or inject enough botox to give you the kind of natural beauty and self-confidence that comes with a good night’s sleep.
Study after study have shown that a consistent, restful sleep will make your skin softer and more supple, it will eliminate the bags under your eyes, it will help improve your posture, and it will even help you maintain a healthy weight.
Aim for 8 hours of restful sleep every night, emphasis on the “restful.”
This does not mean you get to fall into bed with your smartphone and scroll until you pass out then rise from bed 8 hours later.
Going to bed with your phone will wire your brain up and your sleep will not be restful.
Turn off all devices and electronics a couple of hours before you get into bed. Enjoy a cup of soothing tea with lavender and chamomile, get your feet into the grass or dirt and “earth” to calm down your system.
Do not bring your phone to bed with you! In fact, put it on airplane mode so you cannot even be disturbed by notification and radiation.
Then, once you get into bed, you can read a nice, relaxing or uplifting book. Nothing depressing or scary.
Plan for 9 hours in bed so you can get the minimum 8.
Beauty sleep is a beautiful thing.
“There is time for many words, and there is also time for sleep.”
~Homer, The Odyssey
Exercise
Perhaps the single most important thing you can do to instantly boost your self-confidence and beauty instantly is to exercise.
A well hydrated work out leaves you glowing, standing up straight, smiling, and proud.
There is nothing like pushing yourself past the limits of your exertion and coming out the other side.
“I did that!” You get to say.
Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise every single day of the week, even if it is just walking outside in the sunshine, and you will feel the benefits immediately.
It will also ensure you get a better night of beauty sleep, so it is a win/win.
The benefits of exercise include a reduced risk of heart disease, the number one killer of women, lower blood pressure, lower bad cholesterol, weight loss, a lower risk of diabetes, and a lower risk of several other diseases and health problems, including mental ones.
When you exercise regularly, you are also thirstier, so you will drink water, which hydrates your body and skin, keeping you fitter and fresher looking.
Also work to include resistance or strength training. Try to pick up heavy things several times a week, which will give your muscles definition, super sexy! And make you feel stronger, which will make you naturally more confident.
Quotes about self-confidence include your health.
“Even when all is known, the care of a man is not yet complete, because eating alone will not keep a man well; he must also take exercise. For food and exercise, while possessing opposite qualities, yet work together to produce health.”
~Hippocrates
Eat Well
Speaking of food…
Yep. It’s true.
You are what you eat.
Your body literally transforms everything you eat into cells in your body that either benefit you or damage you.
Your food is either medicine or slow poison.
And I hate to break it to you, but hey, that’s what I’m here for, that slow poison shows up on your face, in your body, on your skin, in your hair and your nails, and of course, in your confidence.
If you overeat, eat crap, and don’t eat the good stuff consistently, you feel like crap.
That’s all there is to it.
You want to look great and feel great?
You want to walk tall with your shoulders back and have people say “wow! Check her out!”?
You gotta treat your body like a temple.
And look, I’m not saying never to have your sour gummy worms or your pint of Ben N Jerry’s (obviously my faves). I am saying those things, plus the chips and fries and heavy meals with gravy and cream sauces, should be infrequent treats.
Save them for a lazy Sunday.
In general, you should have a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, fatty fish, grass fed beef, and organic poultry.
Food is fuel.
Cut sugar and alcohol down to one time a week, maybe twice.
And watch your life, and your body, and your self-confidence transform.
Remember, it usually takes several weeks for you to notice the difference in your lifestyle changes, and it takes your friends several months.
I remember when I started making changes in my life it was a good six months before people started saying “Oh my goodness what have you been doing? You look great!”
I had been implementing all daily changes like the ones I included here, and everyone just thought I was on some fad diet.
But hey, it felt great, and it obviously looked great!
And quotes about self confidence include looking great!
“Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.”
~Jim Rohn
Connect to the Divine
I recently told my friends and family that I will be getting yet another tattoo.
This one will say “she’s not alone” complete with quotation marks.
It’s a line from a Marvel movie, Endgame, when one female superhero is seemingly alone and about to be attacked, and another female superhero shows up with a bunch more female superheroes and says that line.
It means so much to me because not only am I surrounded by a strong support system of friends and family, but I also realized that even when no one else can show up for me, I’m not alone.
Connecting to the divine, to a higher power, to God, some may say, has changed my life in profound ways.
Knowing that the Universe has my back and that my inner being is always with me is the most self-confidence boosting piece of knowledge available.
It is exercise and sleep and good food and happy pills all rolled into one.
So, find your relationship with your higher power and build on it.
Sit in meditation daily and connect, and then connect again and again throughout the day.
Talk about beautiful.
“The only way to have a friend is to be one.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Be Yourself
I put this one last because it is, in many ways, the hardest.
“Be yourself” they say. But what does that even mean.
Look, when you start taking care of yourself, really practicing the self-care that includes sleeping well, eating well, exercising, and building a relationship with your inner being, you discover who you really are.
And then you need to let that flag fly.
I say the “f” word a lot.
Like a lot a lot.
It’s one of my favorite words and I use it for all occasions.
And I use it shamelessly.
And you know what?
No one bats an eye.
In fact, in many of my mom groups, the other moms thank me for being myself and for making them feel like they don’t need to give a f*#k about saying f*#k either!
Find yourself and be yourself.
That is you at your most confident and beautiful. Always.
“In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”
~ Coco Chanel
Remember, when it comes to quotes about self confidence, the entire universe has your back, and the best way to that means becoming the strong, confident girl with a confidence level through the roof that you were meant to be.
The human spirit is truly a beautiful thing, and when you can step out of your deepest fear and into self love, healthy self-love that makes you feel great in your own skin, you will see that you are already the perfect woman, the strong woman, that is doing good things, with a sense of humor, that can create the definition of your life that you want.
You will see with these quotes for self confidence quotes that successful people work for their mental health and that the true form of beauty is not outer beauty but a good heart, a kind heart, and a love of beauty that radiates attractive qualities, new things, and real confidence.
That is true confidence and a good time for all. That is girl power and real change.
Happy manifesting!
