How to Raise Your Spiritual Vibration

When working on how to raise your spiritual vibration, it is essential to understand that you are an energetic being, a spiritual being, having a human experience.

Often, we think of ourselves as purely human.

As the meat, the flesh and bones. We think of ourselves as kinds of pinballs hurtling through the pinball machine that is time and space.

Basically, we see ourselves as helpless victims to our circumstances, unable to make any real difference in our own lives.

We see things as happening to us, rather than seeing ourselves as the masters of our own destinies.

If you want to raise your spiritual vibration, however, you will have to shift this entire perspective.

The Law of Attraction

One of my favorite things about the law of attraction, about any laws of the Universe, really, is that it is intractable.

There are no exceptions to the law of attraction

You attract what you are. Period. Full stop.

You cannot avoid it, get around it, or stop it.

All you can do is change what, who, you are, in order to attract differently.

I remember I had a conversation once with a close friend of mine.

We were so close precisely because we had very similar outlooks on life.

She had come from a very difficult childhood filled with abuse and neglect, and when she discovered the Science of the Mind, she says it changed everything for her.

The Science of the Mind is basically a religion that teaches the essence of the law of attraction. It looks at the Christian Bible, the Jewish Torah, the Buddhist teachings, the Indian Bhagavat Gita, and so much more.

It connects it all, along with all the teachings of the great philosophers and prophets of our time, and shows the truth in all of it, and how the fundamentals of all these philosophies, the ones that have run true for millennia, are based in science.

Like the law of attraction

It teaches that you are a god being in a human body and that raising your spiritual vibration is a matter of changing your thoughts.

That you attract everything into your life, and that you can use everything that happens in your life as a lesson and a gift.

Great, right?

So one day, my girlfriend’s wife was hit by a car while riding her bike to work.

The car slammed into her and fled the scene, leaving her on the highway at 5AM.

After being rushed to the hospital and undergoing several tests, the wife was diagnosed with a mild concussion, some bumps and bruises, and told to rest for several weeks before returning to work.

That’s it.

A virtual miracle.

As I’m standing with my friend a few weeks later, watching our children play on the playground, I ask my friend.

“I wonder why she attracted that accident into her life. I wonder what she needed from that experience, and if she will get it.”

My friend grew instantly enraged, as she was prone to do.

“No! No! That’s not how it works! She did not attract that. Sometimes things just happen.”

I obviously let the issue lie.

A wise woman knows when to just allow 2 + 2 to equal 5.

But here’s the thing: it’s either a Universal law or it’s not.

You either believe it or you don’t.

You don’t get to pick and choose with the law of attraction.

That’s the real key to raising your spiritual vibration.

You don’t get to decide that you are the master of your destiny, that nothing is happening to you and everything is happening for you, and then change your mind if things don’t go the way you think they should.

This woman could have died.

She could have lost a limb.

She could have required surgery and months of recovery.

And perhaps she was overworked, stressed out, and was desperate for some downtime, so desperate that she attracted an accident that would force her to rest.

Or perhaps any other million variants of potentialities.

But law of attraction either is or isn’t.

And whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you are right.

Energy Is Everything

A large part of this understanding is figuring out that everything is energy and energy is everything.

We are energy in motion.

We have been energetic beings much longer than we have been physical beings.

And we manifested ourselves into the human forms we take today.

Before we came into these bodies, we were a part of a larger consciousness that can see, know, be, and do anything.

And we wanted to have this human experience for the sheer value of limitation.

The human senses.

Pain and pleasure.

Joy and sadness.

Love and loss.

Taste, smell, hearing.

Those are all experiences unique to humanity and our consciousness.

God, without human form, cannot taste chocolate.

And oh how delicious is chocolate?

So, we were energy, and we created matter so that we could experience it all to its fullest.

And in each experience, each and every single one, we contribute to the expansion of the Universe.

When we understand that we are energy, in body and spirit, we can accept the law of attraction for what it is, a tool to work with, and we can then work to raise our spiritual vibration so that we attract only what we want.

What Is a Spiritual Vibration?

If you accept that energy is everything and that everything is energy, than you accept that everything is always vibrating and resonating.

You vibrate at a certain frequency depending on your emotional state, and if you hold an emotional state for days, for weeks, for months, that becomes your mood.

Your vibe.

When you vibrate high, high vibration people, things, and experience vibrate to you, and you to them.

Your spiritual vibration is the energy you put out into the world that resonates from deep within you.

The nice thing is that you don’t have to worry about a temporary bad mood, a trigger that you work through quickly and get back into alignment or passing negative thoughts.

You really have to focus and create an ongoing energy to attract it into your life.

So you can focus and create energy through your daily habits that will bring our spiritual vibration into an ongoing positive space that will attract other positive spaces, people, and things into your life.

7 Ways to Raise Your Spiritual Vibration

How? Your greatest power lies in your habits.

What you do daily with routine and ritual becomes your mood, your ongoing vibe, how you come to know yourself and how others come to know you.

So, if you want to raise your spiritual vibration, change your habits.

Meditate

The single most important thing you can do to raise your spiritual vibration is to meditate daily.

Ideally, you will sit for 20 minutes every morning when you wake up, before you do anything else, and meditate.

Find a quiet, safe space where you can clear your thoughts, take a mental scan of your full body and chakras, and then sink into your higher consciousness.

Connect with your higher self.

Make a point to do this every day, listening to your inner voice, trusting your intuition more every day, and you will raise your spiritual vibration.

If you cannot do 20 minutes, do 15.

If you cannot do 15, at the very least sit for 10.

Exercise

Getting outside, into the sunshine, and moving your body every single day is a surefire way to raise your spiritual vibration.

It contributes vitamin D and endorphins, which are mood elevators, and it allows you to clear your head of racing thoughts.

Eat Well

Crappy food makes you feel crappy and will bring your spirit down.

Eat good food, as close to the source as possible, and be mindful about how and when you eat it.

Cut Out Toxins

Alcohol, drugs, crappy food, even negative people, too much screen time, all contribute to a low vibration.

So cut out your toxins and let in the detoxes like sunshine, water, and movement.

Surround Yourself with Positive People

You’ve heard it before: you are the sum total of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

It’s time to really evaluate your circle of friends and get that spiritual vibration up.

Do Work You Love to Raise Your Spiritual Vibration

Make sure you have a job, profession, career, or business that you love pouring your creative and intellectual energy into.

It allows you to stay high vibe all day long.

Practice Gratitude

Abraham Hicks advises us to “reach for a better feeling thought.” Gratitude is a great way to do this.

When you start to go negative, think of all you have now, here, in the present, and express great gratitude for it all.

In the end, you are the only one responsible for your energy, so get into the daily habit of taking that responsibility.

Own the power you have over your life and be grateful for the intentions you set that got you here and that will get you wherever you want to go.

Happy manifesting!
